Judiciary to Start E-Justice Portal.

The Chief Registrar\r\nof the Courts of Judicature, His Worship Paul Wolimbwa Gadenya revealed that\r\nthe Judiciary is in the process of introducing an E-Justice portal in its\r\nsystem for all courts users in the country. The E-Justice portal is an\r\nelectronic and modern way of providing basic legal information and advice\r\non-line that would enable all court users in the country to access justice\r\neasily and kept abreast with the developments in the Judiciary.

\r\nThe Chief Registrar explained that the E-Justice portal would\r\nbe a-one-stop-centre that would enable the court users to access the\r\ncourts and the documents. It will also have an in-built complaint and instant\r\nresponse mechanism from the Judiciary authority which would eventually build\r\nmutual co-operation and restore public confidence in the Judiciary.  He\r\nalso disclosed that the Judiciary is also formulating a media centre which would\r\nbe used in disseminating the flow of information including court proceedings.
